Ji Hong  

Ji Hong, male, born in 1954, and in 1988 with the master's degree in economics, he graduated from the Economic Statistics Department, Beijing Economics Institute. He is an incumbent Director of Statistics Department as a Professor of Economics and a doctoral tutor of Statistics major.
The main research areas and goals: statistical theory based Macroeconomic Analysis
Main results: In recent years, he has presided over three fund-supported projects, one of which is supported by the state social scientific fund, and he presided over two defense research projects, as an important research project. In addition, in Beijing he also chaired or participated in key projects in philosophy and social-science fund the State Council Policy Research projects, the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine research, the National Bureau of Statistics projects, the Asian Development Bank, a total of 11 projects in all. Of these, a number of research projects to provincial-level were awarded. The State Social Science Fund Project entitled ¡°Research on China Statistics System Structure and Improvement¡± awarded the second-class prize. "Research on the Policy to the Revitalization of the North China¡¯s Economy" won the national outstanding research award and the national statistical report of scientific progress second-prize, and the National Defense Research project "military system of economic evaluation" awarded Special Prize. The National Bureau of Statistics research project "non-economic management statistics professional development courses on statistics" was awarded the second prize as an outstanding achievement of scientific research, etc. In "China Social Sciences", "Guangming Daily", "Chinese statistics" Newspapers or magazines, he published more than 50 articles, and completed, edited or participated in writing more than 10 of monographs, textbooks, reference books and translation works.
Major social part-time jobs: serving as vice president, secretary general of China's industrial statistics teaching and research association; executive council member of China Society of Education statistics association; Deputy Secretary-General of Chinese Education Society Higher Education Statistics Committee; executive secretary general of the Chinese national account; Deputy Executive Secretary-General of China Policy Studies; Deputy Secretary-General of the Chinese science policy training center; member of the National Statistical Research Award Committee; editorial board member of "Statistics and Information Forum".
He won the first and the second prize of the University Teaching Achievements issued by Beijing municipal government of Beijing and won the outstanding teacher-award issued by the National Bureau of Statistics.
