Tuo Guozhu was born in 1944. He is a professor and Deputy Director of the finance dept, and a tutor of the doctorates and graduates of the CUEB. He graduated from the Northwest Agriculture University. His major is agricultural economy with graduate school-record.
Main research direction: Insurance study and social security study.

His main works include: " Research on Chinese Agriculture Insurance and Countryside Social security System " ( published in December, 2002 by the CUEB.He was awarded the first-class prize as an outstanding achievement in 2004 for the eighth session of the Beijing philosophy and social-science circle. "Agricultural Insurance" (published by the publishing house in 2005,the Chinese People's University); "Insurance Study" (published by the publishing house in 2004 by the CUEB; "Insurance Economic" (as a version, it was published in 1,999 by the Commercial Press).
